Borough of Carnarvon to Wit:-
The Jurors Sworn to Enquire between our Sovereign Lord the King and the Body of the said Borough, Do Present
That the Dunghills close to Pen y graig Well must be cleared off otherwise the watersd there will not be fit to make Use of. Owing to the rainy weather washing the soak of the much down to the said Well, which we consider to be a very great Nuisance to the Inhabitants of that part of the Town of Carnarvon.
(To give Mr. Prichard & others notice or to have it card. away)
That the Well at Penrallt which Supplies the Conduit with water be walled in, in Order to keep the Children from Carrying durt there, the State it is now in we think it a great Nuisance, and a Gutter is wanted to be made at the Upper end of the Pinfold wall to carry the water down to the River.
(to be further considered)
That the Dunghills laid down on Penditch close to the Castle wall and at the Entrance into the Hall in the Wall street is also a Great Nuisance, altho boards with Printed Notices on have been fixed up, against the Castle Wall.
(to give notice to the parties or card. away)
That the Dunghill laid down close to Robert Griffith Slate Loader's House in Pool Street is a great Nuisance, and ought to be removed from thence immediately.
(the same)
That the Pigstile now Built at the Top of Pool Street is an Encroachment on the Waste Ground belonging to the Corporation of Carnarvon.
(to inquire abt. it)
That the Carts carrying Corn and so forth from and out of the Ferry boats to the Market, ought to go by Church Street to and from the Market Place, And also that no Carts should be permitted to Stop on any part of High Street on Market or Fair days. And also we have been requested by several of the Inhabitants of the Town of Carnarvon That no Huxsters should be permitted to buy any Butter Cheese and so forth before the Hour of Twelve o'Clock on any Market day.
(The Crier to give them notice)
And we are of Opinion that a Pump ought to be Sunk and fixed near Queen's Gate in Order to supply the Inhabitants of that part of the Town of Carnarvon with Wateer.
(To have an estimate)
That the Rubbage and the foundation Stones or wall now lying on a piece of Ground the Property of the Corporation Situate at the upper End of Penrallt Street opposite to Richard Williams the Malster's Premises be cleared off.
(To speake to Rob Jones)
That Pigstile and Court lately Erected Adjoining the Coach House on the Green is an Nuisance and an Encroachment on the Property of the Corporation.
And Lastly we think it Proper that a Lamp ought to be fixed on the Green Gate wall in Order to give Light to the Entrance of Red Lion Street and the Hall in the Wall Street.
