Borough of Carnarvon to wit:
We the Jurors sworn at the said Borough court Held 24th. day of October in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and Eighty six
Do hereby Present the Front wall of the late Town Hall is dangerous for to Pass and repass as it is very likely to fall down
We Present the road from the green gate, down to the Water, It can not be made good for reason that the ditches are full, the road ought to be Lowered and paved or open and Clear by those that Fild em up
We also Present the Dunghill that lies in the ditch be low the green gate this twelve month Past must be carried off otherwise the Officers of the said Borough ought to do it
We also Present that Four Pound a year is to much for the scavengar, as there are several Persons that will do is work for the muck only
We also Present that two Pound a year and the Liberty of collecting a Cristmas box is to much for ringing the 6 and 8 o Clock Bell we will not allow but the collecting
Where as divers Statutes the constables are compell to convey and commit divers sorts of Offenders to the Stocks or some other safe Custody, we therefore Present that Four Keys ought to be Provided to the door of the Hind House belong to the said borough, and that Key be Delivered to each constable, in order for the more speedy committing offenders for now an offender may escape while the constable is searching for the Key
We Present that the Shoemakers ought not to have their standing on the Streets of a Market day, but in the Place that where is fixt for them on Fair Days
