He was an educated man, decent and lively in his pulpit, his voice mellow and humourous, his ideas religious; his message was evangelical, falling on his large congregations, faithful in their following, like nourishing showers on sweet produce. He was extremely consciencious in his work, his faith, and his standing amongst his fellow ministers; and in company he was pleasant, amusing and edifying. He was a shining light in Wales, born and bred in Caernarfon, and an excellent candidate to provide knowledge of the Truth for 44 years, He died on the 29th. of March, 1821. His sons: Abraham and Nehemiah, Caernarfon.
